About the Artwork
Fitz Roy, El Chaltén: Cloud-Wrapped Granite above a Glacier
The Fitz Roy range in Patagonia with cloud drifting across the summits. A golden-orange granite peak shows through the mist above jagged grey ridges, and a glacier of snow and ice sweeps down the right-hand side.
The light is flat and moody, with a violet-grey sky and dark brown rock in the foreground. The warm orange of the high granite is the only bright colour, so the peak is the first thing you see. A dramatic, unsettled-weather view of Patagonia.

Styling & Interior Inspiration
-
Moody & Dark Interiors: Slate greys, deep blues and charcoal walls suit the cloud and rock. A good print for a room with some weight to it.
-
Statement Walls: The portrait format and layered ridges work well on a chimney breast or a tall, narrow wall.
-
Patagonia Sets: Pairs with the deep blue sky Fitz Roy print and the Perito Moreno glacier print, or browse more South America prints.
