The idea for Wild Peaks actually started with our own post-travel blues and a serious struggle to find a cool way to preserve our backpacking adventures. We’ve been lucky enough to trek across Asia and South America, and conquer some wild peaks across Europe, but every time we came home, the souvenir options felt incredibly flat.
Scratch-off maps, cheap keychains, and dusty travel diaries just couldn’t capture the trip. They didn’t show the exact winding trail we conquered, the peaks we climbed. We wanted something that didn’t just name-drop a country, but actually nailed the details: the exact date, the route, the distance, and even the ridiculous altitude we endured.
That’s when we thought, why not turn our actual route maps into art? What started as a fun passion project to decorate our own walls quickly grew into Wild Peaks. Today, we’re stoked to help fellow hikers, backpackers, and globe-trotters bring their own epic stories to life.
