About the Artwork
PotosÃ, Bolivia: Black and White Street Photograph of a Man by a Doorway
A man sits against a wall at the edge of a doorway in PotosÃ, cap pulled low and a face mask on. He is small in the frame and easy to miss at first, which is part of what makes the picture work.
The street gives the image its texture. A whitewashed wall with a dark painted base, a tiled wall opposite and rough stone underfoot catch strong light, and black and white keeps the focus on the shapes and tones. It is a quiet, unposed moment of everyday life.

Styling & Interior Inspiration
-
Monochrome Gallery Walls: A good partner for other black and white prints in matching black or oak frames. The landscape format sits neatly in a row or a grid.
-
Home Offices & Studies: Plenty of texture and a small human figure to look at, which suits a wall you see while you work. Works well above a desk at A4 or A3.
-
Bolivia Sets: Hangs well beside the Bolivian cholita portrait and the Uyuni salt flats print for a black and white Bolivia set.
