Our Story

The idea behind Wild Peaks began with a personal struggle—finding a way to preserve our own backpacking adventures. From trekking across Asia and South America to exploring the US and hiking closer to home in Europe, we wanted something more meaningful than a generic travel souvenir.

Scratch-off maps, keychains, or travel diaries didn’t capture the details—the exact trail we took, the mountains we climbed, the moments of challenge and triumph along the way. We wanted something that could remind us not just of the places visited, but also of the date, the route, the distance, and even the altitude endured.

That’s where custom route mapping was born—a creative way to turn journeys into art. Each design becomes a personal travel story on canvas, unique to the roads travelled and tailored to the experiences that meant the most.
